The Redhill Ecclesia

Redhill Christadelphians meet at Subud Hall, Allingham Road, South Park, Reigate, Surrey. There are regular talks on Sundays at 6.30 pm. The topics for the next few weeks are shown below (God willing). The meetings are opened and closed with a prayer by the chairman, and the talk (always by a Christadelphian) lasts about 40 minutes. After the meeting visitors are welcome to stay and talk about the Bible with the Christadelphians present. Free literature is also available. Bring your Bible or borrow one at the hall. There are no collections.

The Lord’s Prayer

Every Christian ought to be able to recite the Lord’s Prayer by heart – and ought to know what they are praying for. Surprisingly many are rather hazy about the details. What is the kingdom? What is temptation? Does the Lord’s Prayer summarise the true Christian faith? We aim to answer these questions in this series of studies.

Sept     2 Teach us to pray
Sept     9 Our Father in heaven
   Sept   16 Your Kingdom come
Sept   23 Lead us not into temptation
Sept   30 Thine is the Kingdom

The Bible and Current Issues

There are real problems in the world. Why should we think the Bible has the answers? If God is a God of love, then why is the world in the state it is? We believe God is in control, and He knows what he is doing. He is a God of love, but mankind has brought the problems on himself. Yet they will not last forever. Come and hear the Bible opened on these issues.

Fundamental Teaching

These are subjects that everyone needs to know about – but few do. Christians themselves are divided on what they believe. The Bible is clear. In this series we will look at the Bible, without being distracted by any other source of opinion or thought.

Jesus Christ - the man to be King

Whether December was when Jesus was born is actually unimportant, but all these subjects are worthy of our attention. Come and hear about the real Jesus Christ, and why we need him.

The Bible – a unique book

The Bible has, for thousands of years, offered true guidance to those who read it. It contains a unique source of wisdom since it consists of the words of God, the great creator and sustainer of our universe. Millions of men and women have found hope and comfort in its pages – a hope and comfort desperately needed in our troubled world.

We invite you to a series of Bible based talks throughout 2007 which are intended to help you discover what the Bible is, the evidence for why you should trust it and what it has to say about our world today and its future.

Ultimately, you need to allow the Bible to speak for itself as you read it and allow God’s word to guide your life.
