The end of the Millennium

Finally what will happen at the end of the thousand year reign of Christ? Of the Kingdom of God we read there will be no end. Of Christ it is written:

"he shall reign until all is put under his feet, the last enemy to be destroyed is death".

Then

"and when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the son himself be subject unto him that put all things under him that God may be all in all" 1Corinthians 15:28

At last man will be reconciled with his Creator and so it is recorded in Revelation:

"I heard a loud voice from the throne saying "Now the dwelling of God is with men, and he will live with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God." Revelation 21v3

Is all we have written about impossible? No! nothing is beyond Gods power. For those who seek God and are baptised into the name of Jesus there is a glorious promise of eternal life. However it is a basic Bible teaching that flesh and blood cannot inherit the Kingdom of God. Paul says:

"The perishable must clothe itself with the imperishable and the mortal with immortality". 1Corinthians 15v50-58

Those who are responsible having gained a knowledge of the truth of God's word will be raised to judgement. If worthy they will receive the gift of God, immortality. Then says Paul:

"The dead shall be raised imperishable"

and

"The saying that is written will come true; Death has been swallowed up in victory"......"Thanks be to God he gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ"

So it is time to get back to the Bible. The invitation of the Kingdom is open to all. Sadly few respond to the call to repent and be baptised into the saving name of Jesus, then continue in a life of faith and obedience to our Creators commands.

But believe or not, Christ will return and these things will happen. The only question is - will you be there ?

There is so much in life that is a source of trouble, sorrow and distress, but so much we can look forward to in the Kingdom when all these things will be gone. If you would like to learn more about the Kingdom of God and what will happen when Jesus returns please contact:
