So in summary, there are certain facts that all students of the Bible need to fully understand for the sake of their salvation. The devil or satan has the following characteristics:
- It is opposed to God
- It is manifested in varying forms and is strong
- It not only affects every man and woman personally but has done so since creation
- It is condemned as evil
Some facts:
- Only Jesus has overcome this power
- The death of Jesus was essential for the victory
- Only through Jesus can his disciples overcome this power
What is this power? It is sinful human nature. It is in you and me!
